Avodah
Entering grade 10
The Avodah
program provides entering 10th graders an opportunity to participate
in camp life by taking care of the physical needs of the camp
community and learning the ropes of camp operations. In addition
to daily tasks, cleaning assignments and special projects, Avodah
participants build their own community and lasting friendships
while on a camping trip, through leadership workshops with guest
speakers and while designing and building their own group camp
improvement project. Avodah members are selected through an application
and interview process. There is no cost to participate in this
program nor do participants receive any compensation, but the
benefits are great.
