Day
Camp
Tzofim
(Scouts)
Entering Grades K-2
Tzofim is designed
for the younger camper with an emphasis on forming friendships and
trying everything TEKO has to offer. From boating to music to omanut
(arts & crafts), your child will come home each day talking
excitedly about the day’s activities. This is a great opportunity
for kids to learn new skills, explore campgrounds, surrounding nature
and develop new relationships.
Giborim
(Heroes)
Entering Grades 3-6
For
first-timers or long-time TEKO campers, Giborim is the program where
kids can build upon their current skills and discover new talents
in different areas such as omanut (arts & crafts), swimming,
boating, sports, music and teva (nature). Every Giborim camper has
the opportunity to stay at Camp TEKO for a one-night overnight.
This popular experience is a highlight for many campers and can
be a great stepping stone for a future of overnight camping.
Overnight Camp
Chalutzim (Pioneers)
Entering Grades 3-6
2 weeks day camp and 1 week overnight
camp
Chalutzim
campers spend the first two weeks of the session at day camp getting
to know their cabin group and attending chugim (activities) such
as amanut (arts & crafts), teva (nature), swimming, boating,
music and sports. The third week of the session is a week-long overnight
stay at camp. Campers and staff experience a lovely Shabbat together
with the beauty of nature and friendship all around them. Overnight
counselors receive additional training and are excited to plan new
and creative evening programs as well as the camp favorites like
Capture the Flag and Wells Fargo. Special weekend fun, color wars
and meaningful cabin activities are designed to bond campers and
to create lasting friendships - an overnight experience to remember.
